Warm up competitions
In 2018 you will find great opportunities for participating in high quality events in relevant terrain. We have selected two events, that we recommend for you to consider.
Sealand Championships 2018 – Sprint, Relay and Long – 9th and 10th June 2018
Only four weeks prior to WMOC, FIF Hillerød Orienteering caters for high quality events.
On Saturday 9th June, it will be possible to participate in the Sealand relay championships. If you cannot collect a team of three participants (two in the oldest classes), you can register at the individual classes.
On Sunday 10th June, the Sealand Long distance championships will be organized. Both events will take place in the forest Store Dyrehave just southeast of Hillerød.
If you move fast you can even secure accommodation in Hillerød Youth Hostel at walking distance from the arena of the forest events.

Danish Spring, 23rd – 25th March 2018
Danish Spring is the successor of the well-known Spring Cup and will be organized 23rd to 25th March 2018 with three WRE events. Sprint in Sorø in central Zealand and Middle and Long distance in Hvalsø forest – the EOC 2004 qualification terrain located approx. 20 km southwest of Roskilde.
Apart from being relevant for the WMOC final, it is also a challenging and enjoyable terrain.
The entry is open, and you will find more information at the event website (see below.) The organizers also recommend accommodation at various price levels.
